Default New Project... - 10-18-2009 , 01:57 PM

Just bought these bits.

All I need is the metal bits in the middle and I'll be good to go...
:-)

I'm thinking IRS, twin wishbone front with pushrod operated coilovers and
something with a turbocharger.
Maybe an R1 ? Under 500kg should be easily possible.
It will definitely have 13" wheels :-)

Here's an example of a built car with an R1 engine

Mine will be longer wheelbase to better fit me.

'tis still old.
'tis moreso, still Ugly.

It's a bit nearer finished is all I'll say just now.
A fellow ZX10 user on Locostbuilders has two of these engines in his car.
274bhp combined as standard.
He's aiming, I think conservatively, for 200bhp out of each engine.
He's currently buying turbochargers.
How do you do a mad scientist grin on Usenet ?
