Took the 75, freshly shod with some quite funky Marangoni tyres up to the MOD training ground in the Epynt mountain. Surprisingly traffic-free run and I can report that, although the Marangonis aren't as grippy as P6000s, they're very forgiving, meaning I was a lot more confident in getting a boot full of power down coming out of the bends. Did around 120 miles all-in but came back with a blowing exhaust. Getting a pair of ramps tomorrow to investigate. Have driven through a fair bit of it in the old Ovlov when we marshalled the Rally GB a few years back. Amazing roads and amazing scenery! Car's looking good too. Please sort out those wheels though I see awhite 75 every day on my way into work with what I assume are 5 spoke revs - looks the nuts! |
