Found out that the missus doesn't like Wasabi.
Might not like smoked Salmon
Does like red pepper and cucumber Hosomaki
but won't touch prawn Ngiri.
Is that a Warrington style Haiku?!

Ever been to a "Yo! Sushi"? Bit of a different experience and not
really as expensive as you might expect.

Never have, but I think there is one at Selfridges at the trafford
centre.
Then what are you doing still here posting on usenet?? Go go go!

Been wanting to try this for months, but couldn't find where to get
sushi vinigar and Wasabi paste.

Now Tescos sell it, I'm going to start experimenting.
i lovin wasabi

there are a lot of oriental supermarkets around, they just tend not to
jump out at you very much ( SUPPLIES!! )

Oh yeah. Lived in Warrington for 5 years now.
Only found out about 1 chinese supermarket which has now been bulldozed
for houses, and then a month ago, an Asian Deli/supermarket stuck in the
middle of nowwhere, with no Asian/Chinese/Carribean community near by to
support it, up for sale as a going concern for silly money.

All it needs is the right kind of publicity as a specialist grocer and
you could really get things rocking.

Yup. Used to live in Luton, big asian, chinese and Afro caribean
communities, so almost every back street had at least one proper
deli/grocer, selling all the foriegn ingredients as well as fresh veg,
fruit, herbs and spices. great it was. I love being able to buy the
stuff that the real people buy.

I used to love buying one kilo bags various types of Bombay mix, for not
much more than a couple of bags of crips.
