Yeah: it will be worth something when pigs fly. Most likely however is
that his corroded beauty will be shagged through Ebay for about half
what you paid for the Range (and that is very optimistic)

You obviously haven't been following ebay prices on sorted 75s recently,
then.

£2500 or so was the selling price of the last minter.

well not quite found 2 currently at a grand less than you say

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ALFA-75-TWIN-S...QQcmdZViewItem

and these are "minters" not welded up sheds.

i'd sooner have a fucking mondeo than an alfa 75. it's like a ugly child
only a mother could love.... actually i seen a pic of steveh so it's all
starting to make sense!
bet my E36 BM is worth more than your 75 when it gets to the same age too

To be fair though, at least black hides some of the 'looks' heh :-)

Erm, a bit of paint and new rear arches is par for the course on an
older car these days.

Yes, of course you would, but that's because you have no taste in cars.
(Chavalier, MkII MR2 and E36 Coupe, ffs!)

cavalier was first car i bought when young and stupid so don't count my MK1
and MK2 MR2's are far better cars in looks and handling than any 75's
the BM well i went for comfort but at least it's got a proper engine
(*cough* now it's how it should be)

i think a few more peeps here share more my taste in cars than the so called
things you have the cheek to call a car.... and we can't all be wrong can we
steve? or are you the only one that's seen the light as it were?

Oh, I'd argue with you, but I really can't be arsed these days.

Give the group the benefit of the cars you've previously owned and your
impressions of them - and I don't mean the fuel economy to the 10th
decimal place.

Face it, you've had a whole string of dismal shite throughout your
driving career. Not a single decent one amongst them.

What were they? Poverty Cinq. with the pushrod lump, Metro, MkIII
Fester, MkI Mondeo, Ka, Accord and now a tarted up Chavalier with a
boat-anchor Isuzu oil burner.

You claim I don't put my money where my mouth is, but I've put it there
a hell of a lot more often than you have.

Of all the cars we've owned between us, I reckon it's 13, 7 of them have
been Wop, 3 have been VW. Of those, all have been used as daily drivers
at some point in their lives before becoming toys.

Mind you, you don't know the meaning of toys, 'cos your wife won't let
you have any - so we won't mention all the bikes I've had as well.

So you can fuck back off to your shitehole in a pikey northern town and
dream of the day you can become a real Merkin, rather than the
faux-Merkin you pretend to be these days.

The sooner, the better, so we no longer have to put up with the dull as
ditchwater cars and opinions you voice on here.

Anyway, I have a bit of work to catch up on, then I'm going to book my
train ticket so I can go and collect the 75, which, incidentally, I've
put nearly 30k miles on since I've owned it.

Now STFU until you've owned a few decent cars then people may take
notice of your opinions.

Erm, what about the 2 years it spent as a daily driver for both myself
and my wife? - on the original, un-reconditioned engine.

Stop brown-nosing the faux Merkin fucktard, Vamp, it doesn't suit you.
