Give the group the benefit of the cars you've previously owned and your impressions of them - and I don't mean the fuel economy to the 10th decimal place. Face it, you've had a whole string of dismal shite throughout your driving career. Not a single decent one amongst them. What were they? Poverty Cinq. with the pushrod lump, Metro, MkIII Fester, MkI Mondeo, Ka, Accord and now a tarted up Chavalier with a boat-anchor Isuzu oil burner. You claim I don't put my money where my mouth is, but I've put it there a hell of a lot more often than you have. Of all the cars we've owned between us, I reckon it's 13, 7 of them have been Wop, 3 have been VW. Of those, all have been used as daily drivers at some point in their lives before becoming toys. Mind you, you don't know the meaning of toys, 'cos your wife won't let you have any - so we won't mention all the bikes I've had as well. So you can fuck back off to your shitehole in a pikey northern town and dream of the day you can become a real Merkin, rather than the faux-Merkin you pretend to be these days. The sooner, the better, so we no longer have to put up with the dull as ditchwater cars and opinions you voice on here. Anyway, I have a bit of work to catch up on, then I'm going to book my train ticket so I can go and collect the 75, which, incidentally, I've put nearly 30k miles on since I've owned it. Now STFU until you've owned a few decent cars then people may take notice of your opinions. That's what I love about this place - there's so much love. |
