on ukrcm!

Thought it was OK tonight - not as funny as last week, and I thought a
3 minute review of the Zonda F was cutting it a bit short.... And how
sick are you of JC's Stig routine: "Some say he's almost as tedious as
me; all we know as that we make him wear a helmet all the time"
I think the 3 mins on the Zonda was about right, given that they seem to
feature one in every fucking episode. I'm sick of hearing 'Zonda this,
Zonda that' - they may be fast, but they're brash, tacky and ugly.

They are 4 of the 8 requirements for a super car the other 4 being RWD, V12,
hellishly expensive and stupidly impractical. So the Zonda has all bases well
and truly covered.

Yep, it may have two passat engines but we've all been waiting to see and
hear the Bugatti.

Maybe it's the Ford GT effect - keep harping on long enough and Ford will
give you one. I think the Hamster has no chance.

It is one of the few things I despise about TG; the constant stream

It was bloody funny though :-D

Did anyone else nearly wet themselves laughing when Clarkson's engine
finally died?

Oh yes.

That was awesome. Especially as it took the brakes with it :-)

I loved the way Richards door fell apart every time he closed it.

Next week the Bugatti, at MPH05 JC claimed to have had over 240 out of
it.

There is no one who could honestly say, given a free run with a Veyron
like he was, that they wouldn't try and see how fast they could go

read on MSN.co.uk that it tops out at 253mph!

at the bottom :-P

its fast, but I would rather have this and buy a house with the change.

brash, tacky and ugly, hmmm bearing in mind that you have never driven
one I think the only one you can comment on is the looks, and even on
that you are so so so wrong.

You have no taste.

What was that chrome dash all about - and was I the only one who noticed
that it seemed to be attached to the car with blu-tak?

If I'm spending that kind of money on a car, I want looks, not some
ugly, gimmicky thing like a Zonda.

Oh, and it was good to see a tribute to Richard Burns - brought a tear to
my
eye! Everyone seems to be wrapped up in that twat Best, when we should
be
mourning a real sporting star who was actually a good role model rather
than
a piss head who could kick a ball 30 years ago!

Hmmmm.

99% of the population wouldn't know who Richard Burns was. Although he
was a fucking good rally driver, he wasn't anything special, he didn't
do anything groundbreaking.

Best, on the other hand, was the first true megastar in football - not
only was he arguably the greatest player ever to grace a football field,
but he also established the trend of footballers as household
personalities. *Everyone* knows who George Best was.
--
Well Burns was a world champion in his sport, with still plenty of talent
remaining and was cut down in his prime. Not to mention a top geezer too.
Best was a football has-been who drank himself to death, and deserved to die
IMHO.
I havent seen anything on TV about Burns, and just one little mention on the
radio. Best is all over the press everytime you look at it. It was a
refreshing change to hear about Burns, with no mention of Best!
