They're OK, but a bit of a 'power ranger' / poseur's tool of choice.

Do it, you won't regret it. Forget the girlie 600 and get the full-fat
1200 model - you can rip up trees with the torque from that :-)

I know, my dad has borrowed one before and i've riden on the back with him.
Big grins all round (although the first time he opened it right up, i almost
fell off the back!).
I was thinking of maybe starting with the 600 in a few years time (although
the likelihood of me having any money in a few years time is probably quite
slim )

Which suddenly flips, pinning you underneath.

But not a twin BEC of the locost variety. Huge cost??? Could be done for
under £10k.

HTH.
Not really you will have to explain abit more. Cant see why owning an RST
however shady its past was has anything to do with mechanical knowledge or
being able to build a locost.

Steve.

Not really - the bike would hold such a huge advantage in drive out of

building one of those, though ;-)
True, I will be going with the single engine, think more ninja/blade for
convenience as its my first build, I'll still kick the fuck out you on any
track with though...
