 I was wondering if anyone can help me out. I have an 06' Malibu thats only four months old. Over the past month, I have been experiencing underbody and suspension "Squeeking" and a bumping sensation on the right front tire. Dealer fixed a constant "Power Steering" Message on the DIC. Took two trips just for the dealer to turn the message off. "Sensor" was replaced. Whole steering system has been replaced, and right front tire is constantly being re-balanced. Same bumping sensations on right front tire and squeeking persists. Has anyone else had this problem? What could it be? Anyone have any suggestions on what to tell the dealer what it might be? HELP!!! sounds like maybe a torn ply in the tire. |

I presume the bumping gets faster and slower as your speed goes. |

Do you think maybe the tire needs to be replaced? I read somewhere in here it could be a break issue... Replace brakes maybe?... I suspect the right front tire for the bumping. You could put on the |

You could put on the spare tire and see if that solves the bumping. Wouldn't cost you anything but about 30 minutes work. Also taking the wheel off would allow you to inspect the tire better. You would also be leaving the hubcap off to see if that helps. Inspect all your tires, look for bulges. |
