Melissa Actually one of the things I have seen cause a noise like this is tire wear on the front tires. I have had several cars do this (including my 03 Malibu) and sometimes it would go away when I rotated the tires, and sometimes I had to put up with it until I replaced the tires. |

I HAVE AN 04 MALIBU AND IT MAKES A SOUND TOO. MY HUSBAND TOOK IT TO THE MECHANIC AND IT WAS THE BRAKE CARLIBER LOOSE BUT CHEVROLET HAS BAD BRAKES ANYWAY. MY BRAKE PAD ARE NEW AND STILL SQUEAK AND MAKE A ROARING AND A HORRIBLE GRINDING SOUND.
