Default 2000 Malibu Turn signal and hazard flashers - 08-11-2004 , 11:32 AM

The flasher relay behind my hazard warning switch carries on working after
I have used my turn signals, it does not flash the signal lights but just
makes a clicking noise, sometimes once or twice sometimes for a couple or
minutes.
I had the hazard switch replaced 18 months ago because it was causing the
turn signals to malfunction, could this switch be causing the problem
again.
I noticed in the hand book the turn signal relay is in the fuse box, but
the clicking sound comes from the hazad switch and you can feel it through
the switch too.
Any advice?

Chris

Thanks for verifying the problem for me.
Next question, how the hell do i get to the switch? It seems like you have
to take all the trim off from around the dials too, is there an easier
way?
Any help will be appriciated.

I kind of figuered as much, I can only see the 2 screws around the clocks,
is there any other's hidden or otherwise? or is there just clips that you
pop out.
I dont want to start pulling off bits of moulding that are not meant to be
pulled off!
