Hello, Can anyone tell me a way to clear the engine fault codes other than disconnecting the battery on a '98 Malibu. I believe the check engine light is on because of my worn out gas cap. I installed a new cap but the light is still there and I don't want to wait the reportedly 60 or so ignition cycles to see if it goes out. There are no driveabilty problems now and the gas mileage is still the same. Thanks, Bruce |
