AC ideling question 87 Monte Carlo - 08-15-2005 , 12:51 AM

I have an 87 Monte w/AC on 305 engine.
When I turn on AC, the idel drops almost to
point of cut out. It also causes a growing
noise on compressor.

Anyone know why this is happening? Is
it something that can be quick-fixed? Is there a
simple module replacement which might work?
