I took my 1998 chevy malibu into a GM repair shop and the mechanic really does not know what the problem is. My speedometer moves back and forth, not reflecting my speed. It effects my driving b/c it seems as if it is a fuel problem. Back in November 2004 I took it to a different repair shop and they replaced the speedometer sensor. Well that was not the solution. The GM mechanic states that it may be a electrical problem, but he is "troubleshooting" with other GM mechanics. I just don't understand what the problem is. My car has been in the shop for almost a week and no one really knows what the problem is. Is there any other Malibu owners having the same issue? |
