This is an FYI on my 99 Malibu V6 3.1 J motor 67K or so miles.
Well it was time. Bought the car used in Aug of 97 with 63 k miles
and now I had to put a tank it.
The car has had it whole lifetime in Central NY state USA.
Job was $276 with tax and all.
Started off with a smell that lasted like two to three weeks then it
started leaking on the seam near the drives side rear door. It was
most rusted on the top and metal was flaking off. Stopped leaking
under 1/2 a tank of gas.
