Default Gasoline smell upon starting and running Chev Impala 2005 - 01-22-2006 , 06:54 PM

This car barely has 30000 miles and yet when I start it and for several
minutes after starting I am getting a very strong smell of gas. I never
pump the accelarator when starting so I dont think it is flooding.
Otherwise it seems to run fine....why would it smell like gasoline?

I wouldn't be amused if I were you. There is a fuel leak somewhere that
needs attention pronto least your car will go up in flames.

3 years or 36K miles, which ever comes first...it should be covered if not
over 3 years old.
