Default Moisture in Headlights on Malibus - 02-28-2004 , 10:19 PM

I've been looking at Malibus, and noticed that alot of them have moisture in
the headlights. Is this a known problem that GM has a fix for?

It's definitely a 'characteristic' of Malibus (my 97 has it), but it's not
an issue, except maybe aesthetically.

If it's under warranty, you may be able to complain loud enough to get
something done, but be advised you'll probably have lots else to worry
about! :-)

Why worry about it? I only had to change 1 head lamp bulb so far on my 97
Malibu. Only 1 burned out bulb on the entire car in over 6 years, not too
bad.

If considering a 2004, I'd at least wait 1-2 years since the 2004's are a
complete redesign and no one knows if they are any good yet. Some that have
posted here with 2004's don't seem very happy with them...reporting problems
the dealer can't fix due to shortage of parts.
