I used to have a 2003 Malibu LS with the 3.1 V6. o Around town I averaged 18MPG o On the highway I averaged 31MPG Don't ask me why there was such a big difference between the two with this vehicle, but there was. |

Thanks for the feedback and info; of course my Classic has the 2.2 four-cylinder Ecotech. Yeah, 18/31 is a huge disparity. Last time I saw something like that was my ex father-in-law's Lincoln Continental, which had similar readings bumped down 2 or 3 mpg for each. (He had the V-6, which he hated; the next year Licoln switched to only V-8 on the Continental, I believe.) What vehicle did you get when you left Malibu-land? |
