I am wondering if there is a manual transmission that I can swap into my
2004 Malibu Classic w/o any extensive modifications, maybe just swap out the
transmission and computer? It is the ECOTEC motor if that helps.

All you need to do is pull the auto. Add a manual, linkage, clutch,
clutch pedal and related parts. Oh, did i forget the rewiring? For the
neutral safty switch you do not have any more, the back-up light switch and
a few others.
