Just bought, 2000 Grand Cherokee Limited, 130+K.
Everything seems to be in good order except the venting.
It has the dual system with infra-red sensors.
Passengers side works fine.
Driver side always blows cold air.
Somewhat of a foul smell, like stagnant moisture.

I pulled the fuse for the AC clutch, because it was always on.
Driver side digital display of set temperature acts as I think it should.
Blower seems to quit randomly, maybe linked to the smell, I did see smoke or
steam puff from one vent on one occasion.

Any KNOWN issues with this system.
I do not know where to begin to look.
Need an idea before ripping into it.
