Default How to make the power sockets permenantly live - 05-13-2007 , 03:50 PM

In my handbook for the 2007 Dodge Caravan SXT it says you can "get the
dealer to make the power sockets permenantly live". As it is they are on
only when the ignition is on. How is it done? Is it a simple thing?

I know how I could do it in a number of different ways but if theres a
secret way of setting it like there is with the automatic door locking
on/off then obviously that would be easier!

As simple as taking it to your dealer.

If you open the hood and pop open the black cover on the left side near the
batter you will see a fuse that is marked ign/battery. the fuse is going to
be in the ign slot. pull it and slide it to thebattery slot and your done,
no need to go to the dealer.
