Default NEON - Performance kit (A Resistor??) - 06-11-2004 , 02:14 PM

Hi, There are some performance kits advertised that improve power output as
well as torque.
Apparently work icw the ECU to retard timing and improve air:fuel ratio thus
increased performance.

Anyone tried this type of kit which apparently is just a resistor that
changes the voltage into the ECU?

Does it actually work and what sort of power gain could one expect?

Regards,
Tom

*ADVANCE* the timing, not retard it. *RICHEN* the fuel-air ratio, not
"improve" it.

It works great if the power you want to increase is the power of
DaimlerChrysler to say "Too bad about your flunked emission test/destroyed
catalytic converter/blown engine -- your fault for putting in that
resistor."
