Default changing starter on pt cruiser?? - 05-13-2007 , 10:05 AM

i haven't looked at or seen the car i was asked to change a starter in
yet,but it's a cruiser,around 3 or 4 years old,just how easy is it to change
the starter in it?,,i don't know about certain modifications in different
years or if thier all pretty much the same, can anyone tell me if removing
exhaust,or subframes or other componets are a factor?? thanks,i know this
isn't much info yet,but anything would be helpful to see if i should even
look at it,

Hi

Very easy.Jack up the car and support with stands.Block rear
wheels.Disconnect negative battery cable.Remove wires to starter and
remove 2 bolts.( 15mm wrench ) All done from under vehicle Good
Luck. Safety First.
