Default Phantom Check Engine Light - 07-24-2003 , 09:22 AM

I have a 2000 Cirrus LXI with 51,600 miles. Twice in the past two months
my check engine light came on. I had the computer hooked up both times and
both times it read "no codes found", and the light was reset. The light is
now on AGAIN for the third time. I am sick of driving around with this
damn light on. Is this some kind of racket to get me to the dealership, or
is this a VERY early reminder of that huge 60,000 mile service that is in
my manual?

TIA,
Ed

Check to make sure your gas cap is tight.
