I have a "moan" or "howl" that seems to be throttle related. It comes and goes as the speed of the incoming air changes with different power outputs. It is sometimes heard even at idle after a cold start. The engine is a Mitsu 2.5 V6 with Holley fuel injection. Holley says they have no product support as this unit was built to Chrysler specifications. The last time we had it back to the dealer for service we asked for this problem to be eliminated. It wasn't. The dealer claimed they didn't have an "A" technician available to do it. That must mean that our other service items were done by underqualified mechanics. Very Comforting. Does anyone have this problem and/or know of a fix for it? |
