My daughter has her OEM radio that was swapped out for a real one. I'm an AM, talk radio guy with a dead radio. Is it an easy swap? TIA |

(plugs are the same, though, but electrically they are different) I have a OEM Chrysler AM/FM radio, non-infinity that I picked up at a wrecker for about $5, I don't know if it works. It was an opportunistic grab since I can't use it in my vehicles (both of which are Infinity-wired). Your welcome to it if you need it. Ted Thank you, |

In the rear, it has an 8 pin connection and 2, 7 pin connectors, 1 for feed (Gray) and the other for speakers (Black). There is a threaded hole in its upper center and 2 prongs, whose purpose I'm clueless to, on the upper left rear. The antennae connection is at the upper left, looking at the rear of the radio. |

Hi, That radio has the new style mounting tabs, the part # your giving, if this is a pic here: http://www.mnrelectronics.com/parp04858584.html That's hers, alright. Electrically it may work, but I do not believe it will mount in. The threaded hole in the upper center is a mounting bracket hole. The 8 pin connector I believe is for a plug that can go to an optional amplifier or line in/out put. The 2 prongs go to a connector to the CCD bus that allow a chrysler drb scantool talk to the radio. Here's the radio I have, notice the difference in mounting brackets: http://www.freebsd-corp-net-guide.co...ics/radio1.jpg http://www.freebsd-corp-net-guide.co...ics/radio2.jpg Yes, hers has 4 screw holes in the corners. This is the old style mounting tabs which is what you have in your 94. As I mentioned, you can have mine for free. I don't know if it works of course, no way to test. As long as your speakers do not say Infinity my radio will work fine for you. Thanks. The funny thing is that the bugger started working (I don't |

There's a lot of OEM radios on Ebay, you can look at others to see what is out there. I would also recommend you hold on to her radio if she doesen't want to. One of these days she will sell or otherwise dispose of her car, and at that time she will want to get her new radio back out, then you can put the old one back in. Ted |

Thanks. The funny thing is that the bugger started working (I don't expect that to last). There is a Salvage Yd near by, so I'll check them out, but I'll most certainly keep your generous offer in mind. |
