Default Anyone want a project? - 10-02-2006 , 03:32 AM

My friend has just bought another funny liddle car to weigh in as scrap,
but it really would be rather a shame.
It's one of the 1st generation Honda Civics - 1979 1.2 Hondamatic, with
an immaculate interior - still has the plastic protection on the door
trims - unused spare wheel and tool kit - neat little Honda radio, etc.
Without poking about too much, it looks a fairly easy restoration job -
front inner wings a bit tatty, undersides of the sills a bit rusty, the
rest of the body pretty good.
The engine runs OK, but there was a horrid bearing type noise coming
from the water pump or alternator or something, which I suspect was the
reason for it getting taken off the road a few years ago.

So, anyone want it for a hundred quid or need any bits?

Post it on www.retro-rides.com

Someone on there is bound to want it.

Hi Willy,

Where is it? I may be interested.

Hi Willy,

Oops, should have said. It's on Anglesey, North Wales.
Rob, my friend who owns it, will probably be willing to trailer it a few
miles, though he's unlikely to want to cross the entire country.
