A friend of mine has had his 1969 Escort broken into (not what I would call a classic, but he is happy with it!). They didn't take the car, or steal anything from it, but they did wreck the door lock. His insurance company has told him that they would write the car off rather than repair it if he submits a claim, but his local garage is happy to replace the lock *if* he can find a replacement lock to fit. Does anyone know a source of supply for an Escort MkII door lock? Jim |

1969 would be a Mk I, wouldn't it? Yes, but my fingers hit the wrong key. It should have said 1989. |
