You'd know. You bought a Ford Exploder.
That's the working vehicle that ran for 200,000 miles of mostly
agricultural use without needing any major spares that you're referring
to. Perhaps you'd care to compare that to the Alfa rot-boxes?

%steve%@malloc.co.uk (Steve Firth) gurgled happily, sounding much like

We were mostly talking about cosmetics, but thanks for resorting to the
normal stereotype view.

You might want to attend to that beam in your own eye there.

Sorry but I don't think that Renault are shooting at the same target with
the Vel Satis as most of the manufacturers mentioned in this thread. It
probably is a "luxurious" car but not in the Limo class!

Lol, the best Jags were the series 2 XJ's for ride comfort and trim

I had S2 Daimler - in pink [1] Great car, I was only 23 and it was a bit
too thirsty for my pay packet. It had an 8-track and I had a Hawkwind
and Gentle Giant cartridges. God, I still loathe prog rock.

I now have a 1965 S type [2] - even better than the Daimler.

Everybody has a different pick.Americans,Japanese,Europeans or
Japanese the choice is different.

snip spammy's link

I'm surprised that noone has yet mentioned the one British luxury car
marque that's more exclusive than Royce or Bentley, and that's Bristol.

Powered by a merkin V8?

'Luxorious' - means wifely or wife-like.
I have a wife and an Alfa Romeo, and both are stylish and expensive to run.
But I'd only ever sleep with one of them.

Don't you find the garage a bit chilly?
