C'mon guys,

This IS a Ford badge, if on a UK car its pre-script Ford chrome badge
and the blue oval. ISTR on 50s/60s cars (Consul, Zodiac etc)

Dave (...who's clearly older than you youngsters 8^]...)

Not one I can place.

I've added the classic group to the list.

I think we have a winner.

Dunno about "pre-script/oval", though - since Model Ts used the script-in-
oval...

Too quick for my own good. I meant script for Cortina, Escort etc rather
than script in oval and the separate F-O-R-D letters, but of course they
used script for the model even in the 50s & 60s but a different style.

I'm looking for specific models where this badge was used but so far can
only find 100E key fobs where the design is used but the shield, as in
this pic. is not. On these 'early' models ISTR the 'ford' was in a 'V'
type badge at the back edge of the front wing and only the model type
shown at front & rear of car.

Nice one Dave. I knew someone would know!

So what exactly do I have here? Is it a grille badge? Is it valuable to
anyone?

It would help to know the physical size and fitting. Can you put a photo
of the underside, next to a ruler or a 50p or something, on your website?
