Default Ferrari to close down London! - 01-28-2007 , 03:58 PM

Anyone know when they've scheduled to be in NYC?

Ferrari to close down London!

The City of London is to be closed down next month to allow Shell to
film a new TV commercial to promote its long-standing sponsorship of
the Ferrari F1 team. The advertisement, which is reputed to be the
world's most expensive, with a production budget close to £2m, will
see Ferrari F1 cars racing through a selection of the world's most
famous cities including London, New York and Sydney in order to
promote Shell's V-Power high-performance fuel.

Shell has to do something with the record profits, I guess using money for
firewood was getting old...

Thanks. I was wondering why our fuel prices keep going up, despite the
drop in oil prices.

Frank - you should understand by now what an honour it is to be supporting
the Ferrari team when you buy Shell.

That's wrong Frank, they are dropping and have not seen a rise for many
months

The oil prices have been steadily dropping for months. At the start of
Jan, we were still paying 1.19-1.22 here. Then it went as low as
1.04(for 2-3 days, a week or so ago), this just after quite a bit of
huffing and puffing from the media on the findings of the petrol price
watchdog.
Then by the end of last week it went back up to as high as 1.13. Don't
know what the price is today, but i bet it's not 1.03.
According to all the gurus, the price should be around 90 cents at
most, yet...

Crap. So then it wasn't Schumacher who helped Ferrari, it was me all
along ? I can never show my face here again... ;-)

That's Just the Duty yea?

I'm currently paying 87.9p/l for diesel so that's about USD$1.71 isn't it?

That aside do we actually pay VAT on the duty? So when "Gordon Blair" put up
the Duty 1.25p last year it actually went up 1.46p?
