Every non rainy day this month has seen me behind the wheel of the
Testarossa. About 600 miles. I"ve scraped the front spoiler a couple
of times, and I'll have to replace a fog lamp cover that caught a rock,
but Ricambi was able to find the parts for me. I found out that with
just an alarm in the car, you still need to keep the car on a battery
tender, if it is going to be more than about 4 days without driving.
There is some super stereo system with a Macintosh amp and ADS
speakers, but I haven't used it other than to try it out.

I did change the shifter from the black plastic ball to an aftermarket
aluminum ball, but have resisted other cosmetic changes.

The TR is very, very quiet. Having just absorbed the engine out major
with the water pump rebuild, I'm not going to do anything about that
for a while, but I'm taking suggestions on how to get more Ferrari flat
12 sound from the TR.

I know a lot of people don't like the looks of the TR, but I absolutely
love it, particularly the gated shifter, the look and feel of the 12
cylinder flat 12 engine, and the splined wheels.
