But then, in this pic it just looks like another Viper. And these pics
are from Ferrari!

I'd say more Toyota Supra. The hard "outline view" of the car isn't
particularly kind. It looks far better live.

I know it sucks.......

I become less and less impressed with Ferrari as of late with each Nouveau model.

Ironically, I just received the new Autoweek today (5/22, issue should
be online in three or four days), and it has a cover shot and a "first
drive" report. I haven't read it yet, but the blurb says the car
outperforms the F40. I'm looking forward to reading it. To be honest,
that is quite an accomplishment for what is basically the gentleman's
coupe in their lineup. And the shot on the story of the mainpage, taken
from directly behind the car at speed, is good. That's the part of the
car I really like. The rest .... I suppose I would definitely be
looking at it had I $250K to drop on a ride because I bleed red, black
and yellow - but it doesn't scream "excitement" at me. I bet if I could
drive one I'd be writing the check. It's easy to criticize when one's a
looker and not a buyer, we've always had that discussion here.

There is a new review of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano here
http://www.thefirstpost.co.uk/index....ID=3&subID=586
Seems Niel Lyndon was impressed saying the message it isends is "If you
want to see how to create a car which draws upon a company's splendid
history and, simultaneously, advances its traditions beyond previous
expectations - look over here."

I quite agree. It seems to me that Pininfarina always manage to echo the
past in contemporary design - and do it very well. 'Ya boo sucks' (or
similar) to anyone who says it 'looks Japanese' - it's the other way
round.

Nice blurb, anyway. But a very cool magazine, I'm going to take a look
at that as often as possible.
