I'll have the bushings. The grinding was the ABS, just sounded odd
first couple of times I guess.

I spoke to the dealer about a sway bar and he said I could go that
route, but it would ride rougher.

Is the rougher ride worth the tradeoff of less sway? Noticeable less
sway?

Recwently I've noticed the rear of my GT almost like minor
"fish-tailing" when you wouldn't think it would. Also, i've been
coming to a fairly quick stop, like 50-0 at a stop sign in about a
40-50 yard distance and it sounded like it does when traction-control
kicks in.
Anyone experienced these type of problems and any suggestions on how
to prevent this from occuring? Thanks.
for the "fish-tailing"...

The stock bushing in things like the lower control arms and the
panhard bar are really pretty soft and mushy... makes for a nice
comfortable ride.. but i think it tends to give the rear a bit of a
"wiggle" when cornering... I replaced the LCA and panhard bar with an
aftermarkets with nice firm poly bushings. Made a huge difference! No
more wiggle...

as for braking...???? ABS????

My 99 supposedly has poly bushings from the factory. Did they go back
to black rubber in the new ones??
99-04s are black rubber.
I think the stock GT sway bars are good enough... what you may want to
look into is a set of (lowering) springs. Not only will they give your
car a better stance, it should help with the handling! There are a
variety of springs to choose from... I wasn't looking for much of a
drop so I went with some H&R sport springs for a 3/4 inch drop... big
improvement in both looks and HANDLING!!
