I Have been searching the internet to see if I have a Isolated case or are
there other F150's with the same problem. I Just noticed my hood and front
fenders have spider cracks all over them. Of course it's now out of
warranty. It's a Black two tone 2001 Supercrew Lariat.
If any one has any information please let me know.

I just looked closely at mine ( dark blue two tone 2001 Supercrew Lariat)
and there is no hint of this paint problem whatsoever. So either it's only
the Black or only your vehicle. Mine has been used hard , 111,000 miles
already , and lived outside in tough weather it's whole life, so it's not
like I baby the finish.

I would still bring it back to the dealer and rant and rave about the paint,
nothing to lose.
