Default F250 Soft Brakes - 09-02-2004 , 10:18 AM

My '94, 7.5liter F250 brakes work fine, don't leak, don't pull, etc. But as
I apply the brakes, the peddle will slowly sink to near the floor well after
the brakes lock up.

Is this normal for this brake system?

Pete

I don't think so. Better have them looked at!
Might look at the master cylinder.

You change your brake fluid any time in the last ten years?

Brake fluid in my '99 looked just like coffee when I changed
it last year. First thing to look at, and cheaper than a master
cylinder, although from your symptoms, you may need one.
