Default Range vs mileage - 03-25-2007 , 09:46 PM

I wish when dealers are displaying vehicles and when either the
dealership or manufacturer advertise them that they would specify the
vehicles RANGE

you hear about the Average MPG (Miles per gallon) ratings, but nothing
is said about the range....

how far can I go on a tank of gas.....

On my Ford Extended cab Long Bed F-150, I have a RANGE of 600 miles
that's 600 miles from the time I fill the gas tank until it is empty.

It's sad that this is one fact that car sales people don't have...

Most vehicles have a range of only 300 miles.

With my 600 mile range, I still wind up getting gasoline at least once a
week... I live about 100 miles from where I work.. I live rural and like
it that way

JOHN

when you buy an airplane, you are concerned about it's range... why not
the same concern when buying a car or truck. I always ask about the range

best way to get the actual range is to fill the gas tank and do some
city and freeway driving and see how far you can go either before you
have to refuel or before the tank runs dry.

I hate Toyota's, they are just that TOYS. I have smashed a Toyota and a
Mercedes.. no dammage to my FORD Tough F-150....
