I am 6' 5" and my contour does not have the tilt handle for the steering wheel (it never had one) and its a standard so its hard to clutch with the wheel so low. Is there anyway to tilt it without the tilt handle? If anyone else has had height issues with the contours I would love to hear how you solved them. |

From what I'm told there are two different columns used, and one can come with or without the lever. Without the lever you can apparently loosen a nut and adjust the height. I have not tried it on my '96, as it seems to be at a pretty good height - but it IS higher than some others I've seen, so the original owner may well have had it raised. |
