Hi, I am sure they just failed to reconnect an important part of the cruise control system. To do that job, they definitely had to disconnect mechanical and electrical connections that run the cruise control. They should make it right for you. I had a new engine put in my Windstar 2 years ago and the cruise control didn't work afterwards. They hadn't plugged one of the wire harnesses back into the main cruise control module far enough for it to work. Good luck. Rich. Ever since, my cruise control has not worked. Could they have screwed something up while replacing the intake manifold? What should I tell them because it was fine before they messed with my engine.
