Bob If you shop around, you should be able to get a 3.0 for under $500. There are so many around, and the fact they rarely fail puts you in the drivers seat to deal on one. There even on Ebay from time to time. A duratec is another matter. You might also watch your local papers for people selling parts off of a freshly wrecked car. What part of the country are you in?
