I have a 1999 ford Ranger and two of the warning lights, door ajar and check
engine are always on. They are false indications.
Is there a module that controls this or how can i get them to go out.

For the door ajar warning, see:

What makes you think that the Check Engine light is a false indication? Take
your vehicle to say, an AutoZone to get the engine codes pulled, for free.

Additionally, the door ajar light will be a stuck switch.... while it mat
"seem" like a false indication (whatever that is), it is the sign of a real
problem (i.e., a faulty switch).

One could always remove the bulbs and live in blissfull ignorance.
