Hi, Does anyone have any experience with removing a broken Vehicle Speed
Sensor from a transaxle? Apparently, the typical failure mode is the
plastic bit separates from the metal base and the base stays stuck in the
case along with the drive gear. I've seen a few threads about this in other
groups but no one has a suggestion on how to free the metal piece and the
loose gear from the case. Thanks.

Um, could you JB weld a metal bar to it then just pull it out? Use the
slow setting JB weld it's the strongest.
