Almost overlooked by the ITV team was Sato getting Honda's first 2007
point. Wonder if Davidson will manage to match him?

I suppose it was the first point for a Honda engined car - but it was a
serious slap in the face for the factory Honda team as they are now
behind Super Aguri.

In fact it was a race for the customers.

DC's RBR-Renault did better than the factory Renaults.
Nico Rosberg's Williams Toyota did better than the factory Toyotas.
Even Anthony Davidson managed to split the factory Hondas.

Only Ferrari did better than their customers - Spyker and STR.

The team on America's "Speed" channel didn't overlook it,
and offered congratulations (richly deserved IMO) to Taku
and Suzuki-san.

Last year at one point, Kimi Raikkonen broke a wheel off
during practice, I don't recall which race. Kimi headed
off to the pits on three wheels, and commentator Bob
Varsha noted that Kimi was doing pretty well considering
that he was on 3 wheels. David Hobbs muttered, "I think
he's going to post a better time for this lap than
Takuma Sato is going to." It was funny, no doubt, but
I'm glad to see Aguri doing so well.

Hmm .. if Ferrari fans are tifosi, would Aguri fans
be tofu-si? ;-)
