they're the BMW works team unless there are fundamental, root and

Having its own F1 team, I thought was a good enough reason
to turn around a midfield package into a consistent podium
finisher?
Worked wonders for Ford with Jaguar.... and Honda are hardly working
wonders since they bought BAR...

Surely BMW-Sauber will start showing results in times to come and
then Williams may just find it difficult to compete against most
of manufacturer led teams?

Sauber were mediocre when they were the covert Mercedes works team.
Sauber were mediocre (at best) when they were the Ford works team.
Sauber were mediocre when they were the effective Ferrari B team.
Red Bull has gotten better results as the Ferrari customer.

Starting with Peter. For him, it's still a hobby.

Toyota has had one okey dokey season in an otherwise sterling career
as YAM (yet another midfielder).

How much of an impact do you guys think will Newey make in
the 2007 Red Bull car?

None. He's not driving it, and if he did he'd make quite an impact,
although into what I'm not sure :-)
