LOL. Did even the track sweeper manage to get passed there ?

Then there's the hairpin corner for the Beijing A1 GP race, where the drivers
found that it was impossible to turn.

Who knows? Perhaps liberal applications of KY Jelly on the chassis would have
helped?

LOL. Brilliant!
Watch for the movie, "Formula One: The Tilke Factor", loosely based on
the two part film "Covert One: The Hades Factor", the conclusion of
which i'll be watching tonight, so i might have a cure for tomorrow..

Hermann Tilke has created some really nice buildings that surround the F1
tracks that he's designed "stunning architecture", but with only a few
exceptions (the double apex corner at Shanghai, turns 11, 12 and 13), I find
them boring to watch races on.

If F1 returned to Watkins Glen, St. Jovite (Tremblant) or Mosport; it would be
the ruin of those fine race tracks. Only because they'd have to be changed to
meet the insipid standards of today's F1, influenced by the junk that Tilke
churns out.

His track in Turkey is pretty good, but mostly because it stole all its best
features from Interlagos, Suzuka and Spa.
