Bigotry, xenephobia, etc are simple vile parts of the human condition. They are not indicative of anything except being a bigot, xenophobe, etc. And, no those aint funny either. |
say that I think people in general are not inherently any of those, and
if they are it's a mental imbalance. What saddens me more than anything
is that I started this thread as a way of expressing sympathy and
sadness to my American friends who frequent this group, and it seems to
have degenerated into a mud-slinging contest.
Maybe I should just have started a "Silent post" thread :-(

David, I'll not argue this any more, given the context, other than to say that I think people in general are not inherently any of those, and if they are it's a mental imbalance.
