Mercedez makes the engines so why is it Mclaren's fault in the first
place?

Cos Kimi doesn't drive for Mercedes.

Upon hearing this, Dupasquier was heard to comment "Phew, so those
tyres degrading at Indy were those 7 teams' fault and not ours.."

Oh dear oh dear.

I suppose you think that the engines arrive direct from Mercedes tied
to a flatbed, are unloaded, and bolted directly into the McLaren
chassis?

Oh dear oh dear...

ah, I bet they forgot to remove the bubble-wrap. so all the engineers
got distracted popping bubbles and when they were done they put the
wrong engine on. yup. bubble-wrap can do that to you. I've heard
the gas in the bubbles is really dodgy.

That's fucked it. Alonso is almost as good as won it.
Alonso has to get past JPM without any *Racing incidents* (Mclaren could
always start Ferrari tactics) :-))

So... can Kimi keep the pole position in the all-time statistics or
not?

Nobody knows obviously... ???

No worries for Kimi. If JPM can go from 20th to 2nd then Kimi must be
able to go from 11th to 2nd tommorow. If JPM is leading the race at
that moment, he might let Kimi even win
Here's a more likely scenario: JPM "accidentally" blows it and lets
Alonso lead, then argues in the radio that its he who has to be
chasing Alonso. These two guys go fast, while one of the roadblockers
(Schumi etc) stand between the first two and Kimi... Kimi catches
finally third place. JPM is happy, he has beaten Kimi.
