I think everybody is hurting. I provide race electronics support for one

of the supporting races and I was able to get hotel rooms for this
weekend the IRL race at Watkins Glen two weeks ago. I remember no hotel
rooms for national races that had no pro races on the card.

It is. Although the Yanks are absolute experts at hyperbole (that's
"hyper-bowl" to youse), the moniker "Greatest Motor Race in the World"
was damn near the mark.
