how in the world did that happen? okay, i can see it was Jensons first
(and only) win, but ITV's coverage is consistently average.

Ironically the only G.P. that I missed on ITV last year, thanks to my VCR
blowing up!

compare it to the coverage in Norway and you'll see there is nothing
average about it.

They took a world tv feed. What did they do to deserve an award for
showing the world feed?
I'm not saying that they deserved an award, but the program consists of a
lot more than the world feed. A typical GP lasts 90-100 min. while
ITV's programs last 3 hours or more - next week's Monaco GP program is
scheduled from 12:00 to 15:30.

Which in itself shows amazing forethought on the part of the scheduler -
usually they'd set the programme to end at 3pm and then panic as the race
approached it's inevitable 2 hour time limit.

I wonder if ITV have figures on how many people tune in just in time for the
parade lap, and turn off after the podium ceremony (or even at the chequered
flag)?
