I would think that would come with the job of *lead* Ferrari driver, to
say nothing of salary.

Is he the lead driver? I assumed they had equal status..

He's the older, more experienced, higher paid driver.

Bob, the fact that Schumacher had that particular modus operandi doesn't
mean that any other driver, before or since, is *obliged* to work the
same way.

Can you think of one other driver in Ferrari's history who was known for
all the things you cited? Lauda, at a stretch...maybe. No, not even.

I'd expect him to stick around at least till the end of the race.

Well his team didn't, did they?
??

I thought they did stick around...

I could be wrong, but weren't they ALL there when Massa crossed the
line?

Seriously, they were ALL there. (oh wait...Kimi wasn't....)

All the money they're paying him? And he can just come and go as he
pleases?

Really??

(God forbid he stick around and help out!)

What's he going to do? Help change tyres ?

Encourage the team.
Thanks for giving me such a reliable car.

It stopped - I didn't have time to complete my Bachelor Degree in
Electrical Engineering specialising in F1 Electronics, so I'm not sure
what went wrong.

I think he should stay in the lead.

The track was fine - it just started passing more slowly under the car.

Provide tire feedback.
The tyres were great but on the last lap they didn't spin round those
wheely things as quickly as I'd have liked.

Did you see my car out there?

Thanks for wheeling me back into the garage guys. Walking that last 5

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. This, absolutely, is what they needed Kimi for.
