My brother owned a 1972 350 LT1, about 250 BHP. That was back in 1974.
It was a cool ride! After '72, the vette added 200 lbs of weight due to new
bumpers and they dropped the BHP to 150! What a dumper!

I can see why an audience of billions for an F1 race on TV would be more important than the meagre 100 k in the stands at a race, when a car is painted like a "green screen" and computer graphics technology could put "Your Ad Here" for the viewers watching at home. |
