Default Nico Rosberg qualifying - 06-24-2006 , 03:29 PM

my hero of the day is Nico Rosberg. he hit the wall, sparks flying
from his rims, and yet he made a decent lap. well done and a deserved
qualifying position!

Too bad he screwed his teammates hotlap, according to MW.

Yup!
It was brilliant drive considering it´s his first time in Montreal.

But what happened to Webber? I´m his fan but I´m starting to feel he
has too many problems nowadays :-P

Bad timing - MW explained what happened but didn't lay any blame.

Cheers

MW said on his final flyer that NR held him up..however these guys look like
amatures out there. They should be able to find a gap and get at least 1
clean run in, to me theres no excuse for this. If he got held up get on his
ass and make room ffs!

I was wondering why Mark Webber went out so quickly.

(it would be helpful to, in addition to live timing, have a display
showing the position of the cars on the track. that might cut down on
the fumbling of commentators who keep mistaking team-mates for each
other)

As soon as I read that I had visions of all the drivers lining up
outside a brothel with their numbered tickets ...

Cheers

Reminds me of a song by a Melbourne group called Brothel. (Full
Disclosure: I work with a few of the band members when I do lighting for
large gigs)

The first track on their album "Anal's An Extra Fifty" is called "Fuck
or Fuck Off". A cute little number detailing the delicate sensibilities
of brothel bouncers.

"You look and look and look and look
And look and look and look.
Your ticket's in your hand
But you just won't book.
I've emptied your ashtray
Five fuckin' times.
If I come out there again
I'm throwing you out, cunt."

Laugh a minute stuff. After the style of TISM, without being derivative.
The whole thing's a bit of a piss-take on the genre, and every song -
filthy as it may be - is a comic gem.

Dave
